About the Event
Join Refuge staff and FOAR president David Sarkozi as we count and Identify butterflies. If we see monarchs, we will also 'tag' them (place a sticker on them, similar to banding birds) Bring drinking water (the nature store sells some drinks and snacks), sunscreen, camera, binoculars, etc for walking outside. If you come late, message us and we can tell you where to meet up if we've gone to a location other than the butterfly garden.
Follow road 1.1 miles to the butterfly garden (gps: 29.612971, -94.533811 or 29.614492, -94.534330). Bring your camera, binoculars, drinking water, sunscreen, etc for walking around outdoors. No RSVP required.
