About the Event

Springtime Birding Lecture - David Sarkozi, the author of Birds of Texas, the Field Guide, will deliver a classroom lecture on springtime birding.
Jocelyn Nungaray NWR location on the upper Texas coast and mosaic of habitats make it a leading site for migratory birds. Since Hurricane Ike 331 species of birds have been recorded in March, April, and May. This program will introduce you to the breeding and migrating birds that use the refuge and make it such a special place.
