Family Fishing Day at Anahuac NWR
Description:
FOAR and Anahuac NWR staff are hosting the annual Family Fishing Day on the refuge. This event was previously held in June but will be held in October this year. All event attendees will be eligible to fish and crab without a license. Refuge staff and volunteers will be on hand to help folks new to fishing and answer questions about it and the refuge. The event is FREE and open to the public. NO FISHING LICENSE REQUIRED FOR EVENT ATTENDEES ONLY!

Volunteer: The Friends sponsor the event by providing additional volunteers for activity booths, prizes, and providing snacks and drinks for sale.
